Description

Switch your electric radiator fan automatically with a pre-configured 12V relay harness and threaded thermostatic temperature switch.

  • Fixed Temperature Control: Turns the electric fan on at 85°C (185°F) and off at approximately 79°C (175°F) to hold the engine in its normal operating range.
  • Circuit Breaker Protection: An inline circuit breaker opens automatically if current becomes excessive, protecting the fan circuit and harness.
  • Threaded Engine Sensor: The thermostatic switch screws into a coolant port and must earth through its threads to a properly grounded engine block to operate.
  • Heat-Resistant Build: Metal and polypropylene construction is designed to resist heat and corrosion in the engine bay.
  • Broad 12V Compatibility: Suits 12V cars, trucks, boats and caravans, with supplier-listed fitment for common V8 engines including 350, 454, 302 and 351 cubic-inch families. Installation by a qualified auto electrician is recommended.

Converting to an electric thermo fan means building a relay circuit that is safe under constant heat and vibration.

This pre-configured kit switches the fan on at 85°C and off at 79°C, so the conversion is completed with one harness instead of a pile of loose parts.
