Description

Expand exhaust pipe ends from 1-5/8" to 4-1/4" for close-fitting slip joints, driven by an impact wrench or a manual ratchet.

  • Wide Expansion Range: Interchangeable split collets cover pipe diameters from 1-5/8" (41 mm) to 4-1/4" (108 mm) for passenger car, 4WD and light commercial exhausts.
  • Impact Wrench Compatible: A 28 mm hex drive on the 3/4"-16 threaded expander mandrel allows operation with an impact wrench or a manual ratchet.
  • Close-Fitting Slip Joints: Stretches the end of a smaller-diameter pipe to accept a mating section, producing tight joints for exhaust repairs and system upgrades.
  • O-Ring Collet Retention: Rubber O-rings hold the collet segments together on the mandrel for even expansion around the full pipe circumference.
  • Organised Carry Case: Collets, mandrel, O-rings and lubricant store in a moulded carry case with dedicated slots.
