Check 12V battery charge and alternator output in seconds with a clip-on tester that reports results through six colour-coded LEDs.

  • Alternator Check: With the engine held at about 2,000 rpm, a green Good light confirms the charging circuit is working, while a red Fault light signals a charging problem.
  • Battery Charge Readout: Three status LEDs (Full, Middle and Low) show the battery's state of charge at a glance with the engine off.
  • Charger Confirmation: A dedicated Check Before Charge LED turns green when a connected battery charger has completed its charge cycle.
  • Clip-On Connection: Copper leads with red and black alligator clamps attach directly to the battery terminals, with no internal batteries, app or setup required.
  • Petrol, Diesel and Hybrid: Suitable for 12V starting batteries in petrol and diesel vehicles and the 12V auxiliary battery in hybrid vehicles.
